Aalborg University has been beta tester on this new product from Sage. Therefore we now have free trial access for Sage Research Methods Online (SRMO) until the end of 2010. There is not remote access to the product as of now so you can only use SRMO when you are on campus.

That was why and how – but what is SRMO? Publishers often say that their new product are innovative and thinking out of the box, and in this case Sage is right! There is full text content within Sage Research Methods Online - there are books, handbooks, reference work entries, book chapters and journal articles but the way they have been selected is not what subject precisely they cover. The point is that they contain methods for subjects with in social science! Sage has tried to create method maps and then intertwine it with the content they have put in to the system. 

I do not have a degree within social science but the above is the closest to a description of what SRMO is that I can give…. but the students and researchers from Aalborg University we had here at the library for one-on-one usability test with the people behind SRMO were excited
